heyyy. Your problem seems like something that would be extremely common among asian parents. I have the same problem too. I think that is extremely controlling of your parents. It's just a teen thing. Wait it out, don't keep trying to fight back to them. When you're 18 and start going to college, things will be much different. As for now, my advice is just not to anger or infuriate them. This will just ruin your relationship with them. Patience is the key. =] And soon, it will all pay off when you're all grown up and unattached to them, just trust =] How about you try proving to them your maturity? Fighting back to them will just make them lose more trust in you. =] Take it easy, and I hope things go well for you.

its cuz your asian thats y. im asian, they treat me like that. my friends are asian, they get treated worse. doesnt really matter which part of asia your in whether your south asian or oriental. as long as your asian your parents are strict bitches. i dont have my own computer. its not uncommon not to have your own computer. if you plan on going to college than you parents are going to have to get you your own computer. its kind of a necessity now a days.

I have asian parents too. You have to STOP COMPLAINING! There are millions of kids who are in worse situations. Like people said, your parents provide you with food, shelter, and love. Deal with it. Maybe they are treating you like a four year old because you're acting like one. Instead of whining, take some initiative and try to pick out an community service projet that you would enjoy or something. COMPROMISE is key. BTW, that diary thing is the worst idea ever.

I must agree with everyone here. Your parents must love you a whole lot if they haven't already hauled your sorry, ungrateful ass out of there yet...

make a folder in you computer[your private folder with you name on it],in that folder add some cool pics[nothing that they woulnd accept] make it yours basicly [but dont add too much just too make what i am telling you to do believeble], the point of the folder[that i know as you have ledd me to believe that they will check]is to make your online diary in which you will write things wich will make them worry such as "i feel more depresse each day, i just dont think they trust me"[not as cheesy as that] or "i dont think they really understand how i feel without a computer"[the better you write it,the more it will work just plant a seed in their mind that will make them worry about your mental health or feelings and what it could lead to [such as you going out more,(depends on what you write)could be drugs...],[just remember after making the folder wait a month or so untill you make the diary,write in it every two or three days or even each day however you feel like doing it, dont be direct in you writing just let them figure it out, and wait till another one or two months after writing things that will make tham worry, and remember to put the diary somewhere,where they will think you where trying to hide it but they will still find it(act as if you dont know they read it)and remember this all depends on what you write]also while time passes on the making the folder and then the diary, make them loosen up a little on smaller things.....like if they dont let you use perfume convince them [work your way up]

-dont put the diary in just one microsoft word page
make different ones with the dates so they can keep up
with what you write
-you know them more than i do so used that to ur advantage
-remember they are people [very imperfect and weak beings]

all of this or just talk to them and even start crying [do everything you have to, to get your computer]
