I was one of the mods that vouched for Elba when we were deciding whether or not to hire her. (The other mod was Henry). I happen to think she was a good moderator; one of the only ones that actually did a good amount of work.
I may not be on the best terms with her, but i can acknowledge that she's a better choice for the job than a lot of the people I know will probably get the job instead. |

I agree, she was good, and I agree that it's probable that she would be good again. We were friends once and I have nothing against her, so she's not on bad terms with me (although she might hate me now, who knows). To my recollection, I haven't said anything negative (or positive really; I've been quite neutral) on her modship as of yet. Saving those types of things for the final discussions...anywho, my point is the mods now didn't get to see her mod before, so their only impression of her is what she's doing right now. So, if she really wants the job, it would be in her best interest to show that she is first off capable of modding well, and to save the wonderful revolutionary ideas for the after-hiring. I know that's sort of "silencing the minority", and that people shouldn't go off of first impressions, but when you only have one, it is hard to shake it and change it when you haven't seen an example of what the person says they are (that was confusing, I know). I think I'm being rational here, so please hear me out.

You know who wasnt a good mod when I was around? Sammi. Sorry to say it, but I remember when nick and I would have to delete layouts you would create on your own and then accept from the queue by yourself. They were so bad... I don't remember if nick ever got around to telling you to cut that shit out.
