alright; i should provide a timeline. lol. just to explain how i got the ancient iPod.
december 2005: first gen. ipod nano. [when second gen. nano was released] 2006: got a second gen. nano. [obviously] and sold the first gen. may 2007: second gen. nano got stolen at track meet. -__-; then bought another second gen. nano. later may 2007: returned nano; iPod-less for a while. june 2007: bought iPod Photo from ebay; took forever to recieve&got a 4G iPod instead for some stupid reason; got ipod to work for 2 days then the third day came along... i went to this arcade and decided to play ddr. iPod was being a bit buggy before that; always playing one second of a different song when one song was over, and the next song was going to play. so i played ddr, with my iPod in my pocket; then it started being more buggy-er when i had to keep resetting it. it eventually showed me the folder with an exclimation point, or a sad ipod. so once i got home, i connected it to my computer and iTunes told me: ![]() so then... ![]() and then... ![]() i did this so many freakin' times i got so angry so i just left it alone to charge using the wall charger. then after that, i wondered how/what it was doing. so i turned off the hold switch, and then it asked me what language i wanted my iPod to be. so i was excited; and wanted to make sure it was okay, so i restarted my ipod and then i got that folder with an exclimation point icon again. so i tried restoring and same thing happens all over again. the harddrive starts and stops repeatedly; so i'm guessing it was my bad from ddr? but the iPod was shipped to me through ground, then air. but isn't the iPod supposed to be really durable? that's how my nanos were. but... if i'm unable to fix my iPod, i'm going to ship it back to the seller, demand a refund for sending me the wrong iPod anyway, and also because the ipod was not in as good condition as stated in the auction. maybe i'll have to get an iPod video, since a video will have enough space for my all my music. OH; and i really don't want to open the iPod up and put in a new harddrive, or just disconnect and reconnect the harddrive. :[ HELP! |
