Haven't played around with Photoshop in awhile.

Original:

Mine:

I got a little sloppy with the ends of the hair and for some reason, some kinda of peachy-pink color overlapped into the eyes. I have no idea where it came from even after going through each layer several times.

I love the eyes and the makeup.

She looks so pale! It looks good, though. I think it would even more exciting if you made her have a completely different hair color. Like a red head. Hmmm...can't really see Carrie as a red head.

The paler skin looks a little weirder with the lighter shade of hair. Also, never desaturate the teeth. :P I think that's the weakest part of the colorization. I agree, the eyes and makeup looks natural and great. thumbsup.gif

Edit: Haha, Kiera. That was a little weird. laugh.gif

Hahaha that would be odd...

I agree with Mona about the teeth, and Kiera about the hair color.
She is very pale, but it looks pretty good. _smile.gif The eyes are my favorite part.

Agreed about the teeth. Don't desaturate entirely, it's a huge giveaway that it's colourized. Real teeth have some colour to them.

When I colourize, I usually start off with the grayscaled image, then I colourize the entire image to a colour as close to human flesh as possible. This usually means a reddish-orange set at a lower saturation. The teeth would be colourized to the same hue as the skin, in other words. Then I select the teeth area and lower the saturation to about 20. You retain some colour that way, while still looking natural.

It's decent looking. To me, the colorization isn't that special, it looks the same but with more lighter tones. But it's alright. not bad.

She actually looks far better in your colourisation than the
"original" oompa-loompa look.

I think you've done a very good job, but I agree with one of the previous comments, that her teeth look a bit blueish in your colorization, other than that bravo thumbsup.gif

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I wasn't going to desaturate the teeth but then I notice a horrible pink tint to them. I figured I could correct it if I desaturated them too.
