Basically, I took a screenshot of my desktop, within the screen shot I have a "layout" I guess we can call it, of how I want my profile laid out.

I'm trying to find some information on how to make tables (don't even know if that's what I need) but for some reason a lot of these little tutorials/instructions start to fall off of focus by making examples with specific style profiles.

Anyways, if anyone can help (designer preferably), please add the tables or whatever it is I need into the proper location.

Or simply help me create the layout correctly:

I don't want comments showing, friends showing, contact table showing etc... I don't care about the banner on top of my profile either.

I will have the default music player showing though!
I just want a very basic profile :)

We no longer take requests but...

You can check out these topics of how to make div layers:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97397
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=142922

and you might want to check the scripts to hide the default layout.

Making a div

Version 1.0

Level : Step By Step
Written By: This Confession - Infinite.-Intercourse. Insurmountable

First:

Hiding your profile.

If you would like to have comments in your div. Please use this code.
http://www.createblog.com/scripts/script.php?id=376

If you wouldn't like comments to show use this code to hide your profile.
http://www.createblog.com/scripts/script.php?id=368

This will hide your whole profile, except for the ad.
Do not hide your ad, its against myspace rules. =]

Also yes, this coding and all of the coding can go in to your about me or who I'd like to meet

Great info guys!!

I just have one last question, I want to make the image I posted as my background on myspace, and then make the div layers get positioned right over the areas I pointed out.

For some reason though, photobucket.com decides to resize my screenshot. It's making the screen shot smaller (800x626) and the screenshot is naturally 1280x1024 to begin with.

Now should I stretch the image to fit the myspace screen, or should I use the 1280x1024 screenshot and make it fit correctly?

Thank you in advance!,
Tamacracker

Well here's my profile, I like it a lot so far... I'm thinkin of adding a good flash video in there and modify the background a lil more :P

I still have to add my linux icons to navigate through my profile. I wanted to know how it's possible to make icons/images all lined up in a row or in a column... is that possible?

Yeah, you would just have the code all in one line, or no <br>'s between the picture URLs

Use this script?...
<div class="bg" style="position: absolute; left:0px; top:0px; width:000px; height:000px; overflow: hidden;">
<img src="IMAGEURLHERE">
</div>

Bump! I have another question, how do I change the font type and size/color? I'd like the font to be white and a bit bigger :P

Bumping this one more time just in case you guys missed it! (I know I know, edit my posts to add on) This is the only proper way to "update" a thread so that it seems most active :D

Anyone know how to change font? with the codes provided to me earlier in the post?

So do I use that script as a div instead of the current one?
Just a tiny bit confused.
