I know there is already a topic on this except its on the lower back.
I have scoliosis and my shoulderblade/upper back is killing me (well, its just really hurts)I tried lying on my back and doing exercises but it still hurts, and when I do the exercises, my back hurts even more. Is there anyway to relieve my back? (I don't want to use a heating pad in the summer either ![]() |

I know how you feel, I have scoliosis as well and used to get upper back pain
![]() ![]() Aside from getting the massage, I also have to make sure that I have good posture at all times (dang scoliosis ![]() Don't wear a messenger bag to school (or a bag with only one strap) especially if you're shoulderblades hurt...which is also another mistake I made :( I also found that placing hot towels on the area that hurt helped me ![]() Hope all goes well! |

I have scoliosis too! Though I get lower back pain. Scrambledegg gave some damn good advice but instead of getting a massage every time (that would be expensive), maybe you could get an effective oil and have someone massage it on your back or you can do it yourself. My mom would massage Egyptian eucalyptus oil every week or so on my back before going to bed and it helped with the pain. Good luck!
Btw, scrambledegg, cute avatar! :P |
