.... Scene is basically the same as emo if you're talking appearance-wise.

Get really poofy hair up-top, but straighten the long parts. Use a lot of black eyeliner/eye-shadow mixed with beige/skin-toned lipgloss. Wear skinny jeans + Vans + very graphic t-shirts. Black + neon colors. Lip-piercing might help you out.

as far as makeup:
its all about the eyes!
-thick eyeliner
-wide eyeshadow
-dark dark mascara

as far as hair:
keep it straight.bold color is a must!
big straight hair basically sums it up.

for clothes...
skinny jeans &(since you're a girl) pretty much any kind of top except for a polo!

Basically what everyone already said.

Hello Kitty | Bows | Cupcakes | etc.

And for hair? Idk, try dying it two different shades and tease it at the crown. Big, bold hair. Thick, dark eyeliner.

Since you already seem to know about UrbanDictionary.com, you might as well do some research there. Look up the words scene, scenesters, scene kids, emo, etc. Although most of those definitions are pretty stereotypical, it'll somewhat give you an idea of the style.

But if you really want my advice, I wouldn't worry so much about what everyone's wearing. Although I don't consider myself to be one, I've been labeled a scenester a few times when all I do is just wear what I want because I want to and not because of everyone else.

Hmm... I C wat u did thar. Are you on GFs?

Skinny jeans aren't necessarily "scene," but rather the accessories and what's worn with it make it look "scene"-ish.

Dark or really bright hair is definitely scene (or emo, or emo scene in conjunction). As for the highlights -- Don't make them look like "natural" highlights or streaks. Make sure they're HUGE BLOTCHES. Particularly random blotches that layer over another color in contrast with it. Like hot pink, blond/white/yellow on black. Remember to make it random! But not too random that it looks like you fell on a bucket of paint.

Sorry, dear, I'm not the one searching for advice on how to dress "scene."

those are called pannels or peek-a-boos. thumbsup.gif
and usually pink or blue look really good with bleach blonde hair. make sure to use tons of toner with it, because the blonde looks like poo when it's the least bit brassy. it has to be almost white, so you can use the color wheel to understand the type of toner needed for the color you are trying to achieve.

its really stupid to try and be sumthin your not.
personally, i think your style represents who you are, if your style is just sumthin you picked out of a magazine && heard about on the net && myspace, then it isnt really you & your faking yourself, hon.
and all these people who are saying stuff like "they talk shit, like this and that blah blah blah"
thats shit.
i basically*above in the "conversation"* showed what everyone is saying scene is. its pretty stupid. scene is just a group of people thats sick of all the normz && wants some change && is willing to beat the crap out of you if you want to try to change who they are. scene is just people being themselves. =]]
mmkay?
well yeah.
personally if you want to be scene, you cant. you have to be scene at heart. what they are saying is scene is just sterotypical scene so whatever && yeah.

as for clothes, anything bright and layered that doesn`t really match. skinny jeans, flats.
dinosaurs, stars, hearts, weird crap that`s supposedly "unique" but you know every other scene chick loves. idk.
