What does abode mean, when you are playing the sims? |

What does abode mean? I'm trying to accomplish all the goals for my sim and I have to "abode" in order to finish them. It says something about "upgrade your abode when you go to buy mode"
what does this mean? I've searched the forums and I only see stuff about sims2 so i think i'm finally safe on making a topic that doesnt exist. yay me!  so can anyone help me? |

Well when people say "abode" they are usually talking about their home... you know "Your humble abode." I don't know if that will help..
