Eat right, go running and such.

And dont eat any snacks. << easiest way to lose weight.

Dont try starving yourself.
It doesnt work for most people for a short period of time, you usually just gain it all back, if not more, once you start eating again.

Eat breakfast! It's much better to eat a bunch of small things all day long, so your body is constantly digesting, and your metabolism keeps up.

Not eating after about six or seven at night is a good idea.

Or, you can smoke pot. That speeds your metabolism, too. Hahah.

Yeah, but then you might also get the munchies and eat like 10x the amount of food you normally would. lol

Tips on losing weight?

Just eat less. It's as simple as that.

You know, it's not as simple as just eating less, or staying active. There are a lot of forces working against a girl that aren't against a guy. We gain water weight A LOT easier than guys. I'm just finding a lot of things out myself, because I'm over weight and I'm in the process of getting into better eating and exercise habits.
The nutritionist I went to suggests these things to me:
You could try eating things with low-sodium.
Also try not eating things with tones of calories. I know, everyone hates calorie counters, but I'm not saying be obsessive. Just more aware.
Plan your meals, eat at the right times during the day, and be sure to eat slow, and in small portions.
Be sure to chew slowly and savor each bite, and take smaller bites.

By planning your meals you're able to monitor how many calories, how much sodium, and what not you're taking in. Your body goes through cycles in the day, and you digest better when eating during those times. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And actually, snacks aren't bad for you. Just try eating an apple as a snack or something.
It takes your brain 20 minutes or so to tell you your full. Thats why you should chew your food slowly, and to take in the taste of each bite. Smaller bites usually means grinding the food you're eating into smaller bits, which is easier on your stomach for digestion.

And of course, be as active as you can. Break a sweat, sweating means your burning those bad calories and getting rid of stored water!

Also you should remember, everyones body is different, and if you're REALLY worried about your weight... Make an appointment with your local nutritionist like I did.

Yeah, that doesn't work at all.I tried it before.I went about three days without eating and then just ended up making up for it by the fourth day. ^^;;;

Honestly, you don't have to nessicarily (sp) eat less, just eat healthier and excercise a lot.Walk places instead of driving or catching a bus. It's also helpful if you just do a few small exercises during the day (ex.If you're just sitting on the couch like a vegetable, get up and just stretch a bit).Just exercise and cut way back on unhealthy foods, it's as simple as that.

For some people it is, especially if you were eating a lot before. Trust me, I lost over 20 pounds from just eating less. ;)

drink jamba juice PASSION BERRY BREEZE! its light with like 200 calories, and right after, go swimming! join a team so you get a good workout. its a great way to stay in shape and tone your body. chances are you don't need to LOSE WEIGHT per say; just drop a couple of pounds until you become comfortable with yourself. make sure you're still healthy! also, stick to more vegetables and fruits [apples are actually really really good and they taste great] and make sure you have vegetables and fruits with you right after practice cause trust me, you'll be hungry! and lastly, eat bananas whenever you're hungry, it's what im doing now because bananas are like super super super super healthy, i don't LOVE them but hey, no one said this was gonna be easy! anyways good luck! i'm trying to kill some spots on my body too

1.I eat everyday breakfast
2.never eat ice cream or candy
3.have 3 servings a day. NEVER SKIP A MEAL. I noticed you gain more weight.
4.I swim in my pool [when I can].

I'm 5'2, 16, and 110 lb. =]

tip: When you are hungry for a snack, go drink water instead.

Great advice! thumbsup.gif

To put in my own two cents:
-cut down on porportions.
-exercise/work out! It helps if you have music to listen to while you're doing it. And pick a routine and stick with it.
-Enroll in dance/cardio classes so that way if you keep skipping your routine or you feel you don't have time to workout, it's already a part of like your schedule. _smile.gif Even if it's once a week, it works.

With your BMI, I think you're in the top of the normal category. So dont worry! Maybe just try cutting back on your calories a teensy bit? Nothing major - maybe like try to lower your intake by maybe 500 a day? (That's assuming you're currently consuming around 2,000). If you cut back by 500 a day, that'll be a pound a week. thumbsup.gif

I found that finding a really addicting video game and getting so addicted to it that you neglected eating was a great way of losing weight. I went from 220 - 190 in one summer.
