anyway, i remember the weirdest things from when i was younger.. like in elementary school in 1st grade there was this abandoned house nearby and you could see it from behind the recess fence. all the kids would say "there's a dead body in there!" and then this one girl was telling me this story, here it goes:
there was a girl and i was friends with her 8 years ago (i dont know how this could be possible; she was 7 yrs old). she was so pretty and then she got kidnapped and her body was found in that house.

and then she broke into some freestyle song like "can't you see, she's sooo beautifullll, she was my friend," etc.

what do you remember?

I was told that thunder means demons are coming after you. I've been scared of thunder ever since.

I was told the same thing, but It was lightning instead of thunder. And thunder was like the good one protecting us from lightning.
Weirrd, huh?

There used to be a golf course right next to the mall near me. It had these gigantic nets (it was right on a major highway) My dad used to tell me that it was a jail and if I was bad when we went shopping he would leave me there.

I thought it was a jail until last year, when it was brought up and everyone looked at me like I was crazy.

Can't say I've experienced some of the things you guys have. The thunder one is just weird.

I remember strange things from elemtary school. Like how in 6th some boy stole my brothers graphing calculator from me. I think I remember it so well because I was scared my brother was going to kill me for getting it stolen.

when my friends would come over and it was close to time for them to leave, we would do an indian "rain dance". because i thought if it stormed they would get to stay longer? i don't know my reasoning there, but yeah, it never worked.
