I think the design looks pretty good, but I don't think the font you used suits the layout. I think you should choose a different font.

I agree about the font. For some reason I can see a more elegant font. But it's very nice thus far! I can't wait to see the finished results!

In the browser I use, Safari, none of the text is visible. I think the header and everything looks ok. It would of been cool if they blended (header -> content box) but its ok. :)

I love the pattern but the colors don't sit well with me... and it is a bit plain.

Eh, that's alright. I don't think that flashy colors and brushes galore really works with Ryan Ross. I was going for sort of..elegant, simple. Ish. I don't know. Oh well, you don't have to like it. =]

it is simple but sometimes its better to be simple.
i happen to like the colors. The only thing i could say is i believe the headers should be a different font they're supposed to stand out and they just kinda blend with the other text. Good Job though
