everytime I see you smile, I feel weak in my heart
like an invisible barrier thats keeping us apart I want to touch your face and kiss you on the lips but you only appear now and then like a solar eclipse If I called you on the phone would you ever answer or would you let it ring, even if I was dying with cancer I don't know what to do, what to say, or how to react If I can just hold you in my arms, and keep this moment intact Am I being to selfish just wanting you to myself are you gonna walk away and hang me on your dusty shelf I'll walk away and give you one last smile as I torment myself living life in denial telling myself it was the best thing to do, when I knew deep inside that I truly loved you even if it killed me, I knew what had to be done I'll sacrifice my feelings, gone like a homerun where no one would catch it, and no one would know the truth behind this face that had to let you go felt like writing and posting something, so yeah. |
