You didn't do the teeth! And that's the fun part 'cause it's quick and easy. Srsly though, it's good colouring technique but . . . Your colours are a bit off. I don't know if that's because you saved it as a .gif file (which is bad! don't do it!) or because her skin is a bit too orange. She looks like she's been eating too many carrots.

And yeah, it's really good for a beginning colourization. When you start spending four or five hours on one aspect of a picture, you know you're getting crazy and it's time to stop being a perfectionist. X3 Just so you know.

Try adding a tad of colour to the teeth. When I colourize, I usually start out by doing the skin, and i don't select around the skin and colour, I just colourize the entire image. So yeah, the image comes out all skin-toned, the dress and lips and all, but it's useful for when you do things like eye whites/teeth. All you do then is select the teeth, and lower the saturation until it looks natural. Then I don't have to worry about picking the right colour for natural-looking teeth/eye whites.

Overall I think you've done a pretty good job of creating a realistic skin tone, so kudos for that! And this is great for your second. =]
