I cook occassionally, when I have time. But cooking takes so long for me, because I'm really slow at chopping and all that stuff, so it's not convenient at all. I have a ton of recipes that I want to try out though!

Uhm my mom taught me how to cook dinner once and then after that she never really helped me again so I guess I just taught myself from there like most things. She taught me how to make something with hamburger is all I recall.
I'm a pretty good cook now from what people have told me. I've been cooking since around 4th grade I guess it would have been. I was more of a baker then though until 5th/6th grade when I started cooking dinner and such. |

I think in many ways, I've always been the cook of the family. I love food and I love preparing food.
I like the ad-hoc feel of it. For example, one quirk of my son's autism is that he is extremely selective in what he eats. It's up to me to figure out a way to accommodate his tastes and ensure he doesn't have a short-order cook type diet. That challenge (and those similar to that) are, in part, what makes cooking such an interesting art. (At least in my opinion it does). There's also some creative expression in cooking, I think. I can't draw, I can't paint, but I can sure make something on your plate look pretty (and there's a good chance it'll taste good too). |

I'd love to cook, but I can't cook for beans, but like in cooking class, I can make the best foods, from the recipes and stirfrying and all that jazz, but at home, my dad won't let me cook with him. :[

I can do some curry's, and a few other cuisines, also stir fry's as well. |

Yeah I've actually been able to successfully make everything I tried cooking except Tres Leches Cake -.- I mean I get the texture right, but the juicy part just tastes a lil weird t.t

I'm a pretty good cook. I don't prefer to cook, because it can take up a lot of time. I've taken all the classes in highschool that I can take relating to food. My grandmother was from Germany, and although she passed before I met her, I've read through her old recipes and I've gotten very good at cooking due to them. I'm good at making traditional German food.

Well I wouldn't really say that I'm a good cook....but whenever I've cooked something, it's been eaten. So that's a good sign
I must admit that I was quite proud of myself when I cooked tuna bake and leek and potato bake. >huh< isn't it sad.... |

I'm a very good cook. Thanks to my dad, who is exceptional at making something delicious from the strangest ingredients, and luckily passed on a small amount of that skill into my essential genetic makeup.

I`ve cooked since Second grade [Quite a few years]. I made noodles, weee! I only cook once in a while now, and my grandma teaches me things on the way. [: The last thing I cooked was lasagna on Tuesday in Homeroom. Yummm.

My mom, grandmother and grandfather taught me how to cook. My mom was a chef at the Hilton Head here in Atl years and years and years ago. My grandfather was raised in the country so you know he loves to cook... He taught me how to do homemade biscuits, chicken and dumplings, etc. And my grandmother and my mother helped me with baking.
But lemme tell ya.. I can cook up a mean Hamburger Helper and Tuna Helper. |

I can only cook a few things...I'm more a baker. I love making cakes and desserts...but for now, I can make a really good breakfast. Same here. But ever since I became a vegetarian, I had to teach myself how to cook. I'm more of a "everything from scratch cook", food tastes better fresh then proccessed. As of now, I still have a lot of learning and practicing to do.... |
