I have a friend, and let's call him John. John is 20, and my friend met this girl Michelle at school. Michelle is 19. John was nervous about talking to her, but he talked to her. He even got to have lunch with her. Things were going ok for John, but then Michelle stopped going to school. John didn't know why she stopped going to school? He thought she got tired of school, he just wrote her off, because he had no way of contacting her. So almost a month later co-workers of Michelle who are also mutual friends of John and myself said why she stopped going to school? Because she's having some serious family problems right now. John also found out that Michelle and one of her co-workers that's a really good friend of ours had this 15min conversation about John. Michelle was the one who brought up the conversation about John. So when John found this out he went up to her job, and he asked her if she wanted to hangout with him sooner or later? She said yes, and she gave John her number, etc. John doesn't have a phone yet, but he forgot to give her my number, because he's around me a lot. So after that the boy was excited. John literally went from one end of the mall to the other like he won the lottery or something. So he tried calling Michelle twice. The first time John told me this little girl answered the phone, it seemed like the girl took a msg, because Michelle wasn't there. The 2nd time John called her father picked up the phone, and John could hardly understand what her father was saying. So John and another one of our friends went to see Pirates 3 last night. Let's call the friend Sarah. They got the tickets early so they went to go kill some time. John decided to go see Michelle at work. John gave Michelle a number she can call him at, and he asked her about hanging out this week, but she said, "I need to check my schedule." After she got the number, John and Sarah ended up leaving. Not before John told Michelle he wasn't trying to be a pest. Then she ended up laughing. I don't think it was at him. From what John told me was that she seemed to do more of giggling at him when he said that. Also, he didn't tell her that he called twice. She ended up telling up him what time is a good time to call her, because he asked. I worry for him, because he's been dissapointed a lot when it comes to dating, and he really likes this girl. John has been up to see this girl 2 days in a row at her job. She seems to be okay with it, but I just don't want my friend to get hurt. Do you think my friend has a chance with this girl?
