the last two of your first post will probably be rejected.

the first two might have a chance of being rejected because the font is terribly huge. compare yours to someone else. do you think you can be qualify easily? I like the first two. If you can improve a bit, it'll be accepted in no time ;]

That's what I was thinking when I first saw these.

Like said above, if you can change it a little to make it stand out there's a chance they might get accepted. It does help to compare the layouts you've made and want to be accepted to the ones that have already been accepted.

Change the font a little, add a splash of color, maybe?

I really like the first and second ones. They're the only ones that really stood out to me.

It seems no matter what I do I don't get accepted. I don't bother trying to do to much to it other than making the font nice colors, and customizing the banner and contact table because stuff I actually do work on doesn't make it either.

I've seen quite a few of the defaults look identical, with the same style, font, everything except the banner and colors.

And these are good too, but you can't say they don't look the same

I've seen ones where they only thing they did is change the background and font style.

The main complaint on all was the fact that the font was too big, but I'm trying to make a little different from everyone else's that use that tiny font all the time.

I don't know if I'll ever understand this.

That explains some of the layouts then. I feel like I'm complaining but sometimes I see some stuff on here and I'm like ?what? and I know that I have made better, but wasn't accepted. These do all definitely need work, LOL but I was just cruising thru them and I was amazed that I made so many in one night LOL.

I see that a lot of the stuff on here really does look the same: same blending, colorizations and some stiff posed person and yet because it has a different "slogan" it is accepted. I love a lot of the graphics on here and there are so many talented people but I see sometimes stuff gets accepted because it's *in* not because it's actually different/unique. I'm trying to find my own style and not bend to the restrictions on design and it's tough because most of the criticism I receive is how to make it "better" by making it like someone else's!! I have yet to figure out if I even have a style but I don't want to copy. The best people on here have their own style (I love Moorepocket, AnimeEssence, and Lanocha's work) and their work is almost always recognizable because it doesn't look like everyone else's.

And what's funny is that I have yet to see a single CB layout on any random myspace account, even most members on this site don't use them. I've referred so many people here, and had links on my profile ironically. 99% of the people I've seen on myspace still use the defaults. I think of the layouts on here as more of a portfolio or even showcase rather than an actual source for layouts.

These are my first default submissions, and before they switched over to the new CB I would spend forever trying to submit a layout but couldn't because of the technical problems. It's most of my graphics that get rejected (or removed HAHA housecleaning) I made my aviator and siggy though, not great but not horrible.

Like I commented on the layout I love the Sue Disney one. I love the image that was used and I'm really glad that it was chosen. I also really like the "I'm the kind of girl" one. I like some of the "basic" ones that people make; it's nicer and easier for people to see. Well that;s just my opinion. The taken one is nice too.

I like your layouts, but don't think they would be accepted, they code them a different way and see where that take you, sometimes you need to change up, because, if you have so many layouts that look the same, they isn't going to accept it because they want a variety. Not that your layouts suck, they just have to many that are the same. If any get accepted it would be the first one
