So i was wondering how long it took for you to get over someone you really cared about and loved?

They say it takes time and time will heal you but its been a year now since the breakup...and my feelings havent lessened...and i was starting to worry that i might be stuck here...it feels like i cant fully let it go and we still talk and it still feels the same just that we aren't really together. i do want to move on but at the same time i dont want to and i dont know how to. Confused. but oh well. _unsure.gif

lol well, the last time i really liked someone before Thuan it was a big mistake and i really didn't like him. lol. does that make sense? but yeah i wasted about 2 years of my life, but it doesn't really matter now. :] it's okay. it does take time, and when that time comes it'll come and perhaps you'll realize like i did...like, why did you even like that person at all? lol. ehh that's just me:)

[we were together for 1 yr on and off]i wouldnt say love but how much he meant to me.. it to me a while, but it was a while to realize how much of an ass he made me look b/c he wasnt really the boyfriend material...

other than him, my other ex took me a great while [only four months] but we grew on each other when we broke up.... we are best friends now.. i dnt think we are over each other though... like we are.. but deep down hard to admit that we arent....

My last serious relationship lasted just five months, but it took me like a year to fully get over it, mostly because of the way it had ended- unresolved and in the most confusing circumstances.

If you really loved him/her, you won't ever get over them.

Yes, I know I made a lot of people feel worse with that one, but when it gets right down to it, I'm not sure If I have ever truly been in love with a girlfriend...not even my current, so when you think about it I'm sure most of you have never been truly in love either, I wouldn't worry.
