It's cute and as you said, there are some things that look really fake. One thing that would help, though, would be to lessen the dropshadow. Right now, especially with the post it on the right and the very bottom photo, there's too much shadow behind those two things which make them appear to be floating much higher above the board than they should be if they were pinned.
