okay, i have a question.
and caution, its GROSS
i am a 16 year old girl and have had A LOT off medical problems in the past that required heavy medication and stuff. i got my 1st period the week before my 16th birthday, back in october. my doctor said my period was probably so late because of all the medicine ive taken in the past...
my period is allway irregular ( which i know is normal) and the length varies. but recently i had to do a long dose of prednozone (a type of steroid for inflamation) and have taken heavy pain killers and also had surgery april 10th. i had my last normal period end of febuary. i skipped march and this is about the time i should be getting it. on april 21 i had some redish brown spotting, but on april 22 i had this REALLY GROSS blackish crud coming out, then had a really heavy period (ruined my undies) but it lasted only about two hours. then ihad alot of blood whenever i wiped, then only a little bit. so if that was my period it only lasted two doys and was really gross
IS THAT NORMAL?
could the medication and stress be doing that?
help!

It's probably because of the medication. Go see a doctor, and tell him/her your problem. Doctors are always the best source of medical help. (duhh)

Well anyways, good luck with your "problem."

Hmm that's rather odd. Might not be anything to worry about, but you should ask your doctor about it. It probably is from the medication.

I think the medication definitely is to blame.
You should talk to your doctor and describe your period in detail (sorry... it'd probably be awkward, but yeah). He/she can perhaps adjust the dose of medication or otherwise find out what's causing your abnormal period.

hmm, well it also could be because you skipped a period. when you do skipp a period, all that blood from the previous month is still there. so when it does end up coming out, it's a lot more.

like pregnancy. you may not get your period for 9 months, but theres hell to pay afterwards.

yupp. mine's done that before. actually, last week. it's probably because you've skipped and it's just built up.

Its probably just because of the medication but you should go see a doctor just to make sure. But just like Cup Noodles said because you skipped your period for awhile some blood built up.
