Well, I'm having my birthday party at a Mexican Restaurant, and I'm thinking about trying a Chicken Quesadillas. From what I've heard from friends and family is that Chicken Quesadillas are delicious. Do any of you like them, or want to try them?

EW Mexican food anywhere other than the south in America tends to = poop imo. Taco bell =/= mexican food either. Actually what I'm referring to I consider tex-mex. Real mexican food = neh. Anyways.
I suppose if you cook it yourself it could be good, but for the most part any mexican restaurant I've been to outside of texas/cali/florida has sucked. Quesadillas are easy to make though. Pretty much throw some ingredients inside two tortillas, main ingredients being the meat of your choice, and cheese, then you throw it on a skillet (double sided ones work wonders), let it sit a few mins, that heats everything up and melts the cheese. Then you get a pizza cutter and cut it into however many pieces you want. Make some guacamole too, goes great. Guacamole = get 2 avacados, mash them up in a bowl, add some milk/sour cream/SPICES! and Lemon juice to stop it from browning! Edit: Oh yeah you can also add some pico de gallo. That stuff's goooood! It's pretty much some peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro diced up and thrown in a bowl. |

Wow. Thanks for your reply.
I live in Mississippi, and most people say that this restaurant called Guadalajara makes the best chicken quesadillas, and that's where I plan on having my party. I've seen pictures of them and they look pretty good but looks can be deceiving. |

Out of all mexican food, Chicken quesadillas are the only thing I'll eat.. ('cept for chicken nachos). Soo yeah, I like them. They're better than anything else you could get in a mexican restaurant IMO.

The ones that I usually get have nacho chips, chicken, queso, lettuce, chipotle ranch (optional), shredded cheese, and anything else you want on it...
The place I go to get it, I can pick what all I want. Some chicken nachos come with beans too. |

Any Mexican food in my opinion are delicious. Although you may want to make sure some of your friends aren't vegetarian but if so regular cheese quesadillas are good.
Oh btw, you talking to someone who eats hispanic food likeee every day. :) |

Ah I looked at your profile and it said Columbus so I assumed Ohio. Yeah mexican food is really easy to make, I do it all the time. But then again, I find almost all cooking easy. PM me if you want and I'll teach you how to cook it?

Tons of tex-mex is great. Enchiladas, fajitas, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, empanadas, salsa, chile con queso, etc.

They're good, but every place I've been to has made them differently. I'm really open to trying new foods, so I've had many different kinds of things.

Haha I just thought of a good analogy. Sorry if it's a lil off topic :)
If any of y'all consider Taco Bell mexican food, that's like calling dominoes and pizza hut good pizza as compared to a pizza place in the northeast! |

I absolutely adore Chicken Quesadillas ;D It`s the only combo I would order at Taco Bell. They come in Steak and Chicken. Steak is a bit dry to me, but it`s still yummy! (:

Well, I guess I can say I just like quesadillas in general. Having chicken added, even better!
