there was once a dream I tried to erase
but the Image has frozen
like my soul thats lost without a place
in a time thats forgotten

it was like watching a movie
and my mind was the video
as it played over and over
words without any audio

I'm trying to capture this moment
but this moment isn't mine
as if I was trying to steal a victory
whose win wouldn't shine

I'm clutching my fist, as I try to awake
but I'm stuck in a dream, where my mind forsakes
Until this answer is found, I may sleep forever
In my undying misfortune that leaves me never

it was like reading a story
but the pages never end
trapped in my own misery
living a lie I cannot mend

like a goal ill try to pursue
