I'd be fine with it.  It's not like they'd hit on me because they know I'm straight.

agreed. i have a friend that's a lesbian, and she's never hit on me. (and we've been friends for several years.)

I imagine it's something like having guy friends. There is every chance that they could be attracted to you. It would be just as awkward if guy friend that you did not like in that special way revealed his feelings as it would if a girl friend did.

I'd be perfectly comfortable around them.

I have a friend that's a lesbian and I'm fine with it. As long as they know I'm straight and they don't come on to me I don't care at all.

I'm not really sure. But I would hope she wouldn't be attracted to me. But, I'm still not sure. I don't have a lesbian as a friend, but that sure would be a..shocking moment if I ever found out. mellow.gif

No, my lesbian friends don't bother me in the least. I mean honestly, you're not going to stay away from befriending all guys because they might be interested in you, are you?

i have a few bi friends. whats the difference?
it doesnt matter. if they even were interested in you, youre straight so they cant expect anything of you. theyre just people. it doesnt matter what their sexual orientation is.

I hope everyone knows that if someone is a lesbian, it doesn't mean that they are attracted to every woman in the world. They are just as selective as straight women.

^I agree. I hate it when someone finds out their friend is either gay/lesbian, they would think they like them _dry.gif

i think it'd depend... as long as the friendship stayed strictly friendly then i'd be fine. but i'd probably feel uncomfortable with talking about it honestly ermm.gif cuz i wouldn't want to 'condemn' her or anything, but it's still against... morals... i mean there's nothing wrong with the PERSON of course huh.gif

I would be okay with it.
If she told me that she was a lesbian, i mean...I can't do anything about it. I'm not going to judge her for it, or stop hanging out with her.
If she told me she was a lesbian and in love with me.
Well, that would be a harder situation since I wouldn't feel the same way obviously.
But either way I would still want to remain friends
