you have to have an animation or flash program to start with. most of them are expensive though.

in flash, you would use a path animation on the black heart (on its own layer).
there's masking set to a low opacity over everything except "ashley". anddd you make new keyframe and use filters on "ashley" and then create a motion tween. |
