i think there should be more requirements for those wishing to submit topsites.

i dont want to single anyone out but some sites on there are sort of "commercial" sites. I see tons of sites on there submitted by "members" with zero posts

it frustrates me that people who dont give a damn about createblog can submit their sites and think its ok.

i know there's a lot of you who have opinions of the opposite thinking, but i was just wondering if maybe there could be a post # requirement and/or a ppd requirement to post a topsite, or at least guidelines to follow to submit. or even a better submission form, so we dont get people who sign up for cb just for the topsite aspect and contribute NOTHING in return

We do have topsite submission guidelines, but that's moreso concerned with site content and such than with the members submitting topsites.

To some degree, this reminds me of this. Why should people get something out of createBlog if they don't contribute, right? Well, the difference between topsite and perhaps say requesting layouts and such is that with topsite, they ARE contributing something back--they're (supposedly) linking people back to createBlog through the topsite button on their site, which if they don't have up after two weeks of acceptance, their site will be rejected. (And I haven't been keeping up with that since I've been busy with school and such for the past couple weeks, so I apologize for that and I'll try to get on that as soon as I have time).
