got the original idea from the ibdof =]

***and i apologize if this is already

topic: weird / exotic / unusual or downright crazy things you've eaten. You ate them either because you paid for the privilege (in a restaurant or while travelling), someone paid/dared you to eat it, you were trained to eat it during a survival course, or you ate it because you were too drunk (or mis-informed) to know better

so heres some of mine
* Squid (only in calamari sadly)
* Raw oysters (love ^_^)
* Cat and dog food and biscuts (friends random stuff)
* Seaweed (yumm)
* Catfish ( some might find odd)
* these sand things caught off the shore of catalina (deep fryed)
* tripe
* salt-fried head-on shell-on shrimp (soo yummy)
* okra (oooh soo good... as an indian dish, one of my favorites throb.gif )
* pure capsicum extract ( wayyy hotter than habeneros [over 1,000,000+ scoville]) only a drop but still YOWZZA!

all i can think of for thhe moment

might have had more but was never told pinch.gif

That's nothing. I eat all the food you have listed on a regular basis (cept the last one and the dog food). The joys of being asian :d

- Okra often, even though I think it tastes disgusting
- Pig intestines
- Pig boiled blood
- Chicken feet
- Frog legs
- Liver (any)
- Intestines (I think?)
- Fish eyeballs
- Some egg of an insect...my parents didn't tell me what it was until AFTER I ate it...
- Sashimi is good but I don't get to eat it often unless my friends and I go out for sushi

DID YOU KNOW THAT RED FOOD COLORING IS MADE OUT OF BEETLES? My friend just told me today and I thought it was an april fools joke but apparently not since today is the 2nd crazy.gif

There's more...hmm, what crazy things have I eaten in Taiwan?

I haven't really eaten any extreme cuisine.

I've eaten sashimi, and it's delicious... but that's basically it.
