I swear I thought there was a topic on this. Cartoon network showed it yesterday, at 8. So I tried to watch both Spirited Away and the Kids Choice Awards at the same time but ended up watching more of Spirited Away. I love this movie and I continued to love it even more when I saw it again last night. From the adorable characters to the voices to the scenery and the story line, absolutely amazing.

Has anyone else seen this movie?

My favorite characters were Chihiro and the mouse. _smile.gif

Yeah, I love the mouse and the buzzing thing that carries it. They're so adorable. Haku's cool too. The only thing I don't like about it is the English voice actors. Seeing the movie with its original Japanese voice actors is much better. Cantonese isn't bad either; my best friend gave me a burned copy of it in Canto.

Did you try searching Anime for a topic on this movie? I think I've seen a thread about it there.

P.S. Nice new avatar. _smile.gif

I like the Japanese version way better than the English one. It's a fantastic movie though. They play it alooot on Cartoon Network for some reason?

I've read the manga, and I love it. I forgot the name of the artist, but I love Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service as well. :)

This was the most amazing show EVER! I've watched it soo many times... and even in French while I study for my French tests. It's a good luck charm, I swear it!

Hayao Miyazaki!

Rachael: Haha, wow. It'd be really interesting to watch it in French. laugh.gif

One of my favorite movies happy.gif It's pretty creepy at points, like with the bouncing heads... But I love Haku and Chihiro's relationship.

I LOVE IT! throb.gif
i was quite disappointed in the english version, however. the japanese version is, in my opinion, a lot more worth seeing (even if you have to watch it with subtitles) because the voices sound so much more authentic/suited to their roles... chihiro's voice was especially a huge disappointment in english for me. then... the japanese to english translation kind of dried up the language for me. but whatever. I LOVED THE MOVIE :) :)

I thought so too, in the Anime Forum. wink.gif

But it's not there. ohmy.gif There's only the Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away comparison topic.

I love this movie, always have. It's the first movie my son and I really bonded together with. That probably doesn't make a great deal of sense, but we used to watch it all the time together. I have the soundtrack and listen to it regularly.

The train scene always makes me cry. cry.gif

Definitely! I think that Spirited Away has also inspired a lot of great graphics/art.

I have always been fond of this one and this one.
