I agree that rules should be or is flexible to an extent. Life is unfair; get used to it. _smile.gif

Rules should not be limited, after all...they are meant to be broken.

Unless you want to talk about "holy wars."

That's a whole different topic though.

Hey, I'm all about rules being flexible, I always have been. What you're getting at (and damn, why won't you just let it go?!) is completely different.

Seriously, just drop it.

To some degree. Of course, that would be assuming that the person breaking the rule had some dignity and just an ounce of common sense.

No. Rules are there for a reason.

If rules were flexible, what would be the point in having them?

Just drop it for crying out loud... we're not blind.

Yeah, why not flex the rules a bit. I mean, geez, people on staff should be friends. Nothing like stabbing your friend in the back.

You're being slightly hypocritical, Aren't you? A bit bias, yes? I mean... Just because it happened to you.
Let's say it was someone else. Honestly, You wouldn't care. mellow.gif

I agree that rules should be flexible TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. You crossed that line, babe. _dry.gif

A bit, yeah. But consequences are consequences, no? Actions needed to be taken when trouble occurs.

Why are their so many topics on this situation in which i honestly have no idea about but comes off as people now hatin' on each other because of something that happened? _unsure.gif

But, i think rules should be flexible to a certain extent. Not to the point in which people abuse them or it's unfair though. For example, at my school, when one kid punches another in the face, you're supposed to get suspended for this, most do. But, one day, Jackson decides to punch someone, and he only gets detention because "he's needed as an athlete" mellow.gif That kind of flexibility i don't agree with.

One of our most enjoyable staff members (Kaycee) was kicked off, with no real reason given by the admins and head staff other than "oh she did something so horrible we can't discuss it." It's total garbage.

How are these topics productive? All of them that end in "ar" are just abstractly arguing about the situation only staff completely knows about.

You make a good point; describing the real situation (not that garbage coming from admins and head staff) to the whole community wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'll try to get that up by tonight.

As for "people on staff should be friends," sometimes when you just got to go against the flow when you know there's something wrong with what's happening between the higher staff members (like a corrupted government).

Viva La Revolución!
