Thorn the Snake, poetry bout a snake named thorn Options

thorn the snake

once there was a snake
who did nothing all day,
so he decided to slither and move my way,
this snake u see, is an old friend of mine,
we chilled and hung out and went out to dine,
god its been so very long,
i've had to put up with this snake named 'thorn',
"thorn?" u ask, "what a very strange name...
i've never heard of a snake named that way,"
"thorn?" i say, "his name is so,
coz he's a thorn in my side and he has to go!"
so i try and try to get rid of the snake,
but try as i might i cant escape,
so till today him and me are mates,
a friendship i am eager to eradicate,
u might now wonder what the hell i'm after,
ranting about this goddamn snake,
u might want to ponder, maybe the snake i'm after,
isnt a person or a place.
dear thorn is in fact,
a symbol of that,
one characteristic i hate,
one's called laziness, the other procrastination,
2 things i have to date.
in times like this i get especially sick,
of dear old slithery thorn,
in times like this, when i have exams next week,
i wish he'd never been born.
