15 i got my first cell phone for "emergencies" it was this cheap lil thing that you had to buy minutes every time you used it
 Didn't really like it, cuz it had really bad reception. But at 16 I got this pimpin one with a camera and video thing and everything so i was happy after that

i was in the 8th grade when i got it becuase i had a saturday detention to go to and my mom needed a way to get a hold of me SO she gave me a cell phone and it was ALL down hill from there .

i got my first cell for eighth grade graduation, which was last year. then, this year, i volunteered at the elementary school for some stuff, and all the fourth graders had cell phones. i was all like "NOT FAIR!" i had to beg for mine.
