comment trouble, stupid hackers! Options

i have a comment that a hacker left on my page and i can't delete it. help please!

What do you mean? You can't delete it. The delete button won't work?

I think I had this before but it wasn't a hacker, it was like a spam comment in words and in pictures that took over the delete area.

If you go you're view all comments, if you hover over the Delete Comment part, there is a URL. Everytime you go up a comment, you will notice the numbers start to decrease.

So, if you go to you're comments and you can't delete it. Go to the comment that the so called "hacker" left it and before THAT comment, right click -> Properties on delete comment & copy the URL. The comment BEFORE the "hacker" left.

You will see something like this:
java script:__doPostBack('ctl00$Main$PagedComments$viewComments$commentRepeater$ctl##$deleteLinkButton','')

You see that bold & underlined part, there should be a number. Paste the URL in the address box, and decrease THAT NUMBER by 1. Enter the URL and it will tell you if you want to delete it, say yes. There. The comment the hacker left is gone. (=

yes, it said delete comment but it was a link to whatever they were selling. but i figured out how to delete it. i copied the shortcut from a different comments delete link and changed the number of the comment it deleted, then i put it in the address bar and voila! gone :)
