sorry to ask a dumb question
but i keep seeing ads for playtex 18 hour bras. and they're like "what could YOU do in 18 hours?" and i dont get it... what do the bras do? what is the 18 hours?

Youre awake for 18 hours (or round about), its an open ended question. You wear a bra when youre awake, so theyre asking you what will you do while wearing the bra. And something obvioulsy to be how comfortable the bra is to wear it so long. blah blah blah

It's just their way of saying their bra is comfortable. You can wear it for 18 hours without discomfort, basically.

their advirtisment is such a contradition. isnt it a known fact that all humans should get at least 7-8 hours of sleep?

I'm not sure... From the commercials it looks like it's for larger women, and maybe it gives you support for a long time, whereas other bras don't?
