I honestly don't really like it. The picture you used is poor quality, and for some reason the half the mouth doesn't line up.

the animation is a flash file dived over the image. So if your using a different thing than FF it could be off.

The picture that was taken was awesome, but I have done so much to it. What did you not like about it

It just doesn't go with the smooth lines of the rest of the layout. It's really grainy.

I'm going to go with Jackie on this one; I'm not particularly fond of the quality of your actual picture. I do like the rest of the graphic, though. Although I really have no qualms with the Eiffel Tower, but it's kinda random. huh.gif The module on the right is a bit wider than it should be, I think (on Firefox, anyway).

I like the iconic links at the bottom right. The extreme left alignment is really throwing me off though. I don't know if that's just my browser (I'm using FF) or what, but I literally have to jerk my head to the left a tad to read the blog(s).

The partial image isn't what I find odd. It's the placement. You have it sort of left/centered aligned, but it's a left side crop job. Makes the page seem a little on the schizophrenia side.

The little white animation on the header image is cute though. :)

Its my personal opinion that the little ball of light should stay floating on the hand because the looping makes it get annoying (well at least to me) and its kind of distracting since it keeps moving in the background so if your reading you suddenly notice the little light effect moving its way across the screen. Im not sure if the stripped box in the background thats behind the links and stuff on the right is supposed to fit that, but I would think it would look nicer if it did. I didn't notice the image but yeah theres some alignment problems, but I don't think its a major problem. Its nice I love flash myself, and animating things can take a while (depending on the complexity) so good job.

-Edit-
Im curious as to why you didn't just make the whole top picture a flash object so you wouldn't have to split up the picture and eliminating the problem of the mis-alignment.

I like it - but yeah, the mouth not lining up kind of bothers me a little. The overall design with the grungyness and the and stylezed bold lines. the 3D perspective of the Eiffel Tower is pretty cool too.

Oh yeah, the blog header is kind of up too high - I can hardly read it.

PS - I just noticed that the ball of light floats over your hand - HOW CREATVE! Very nice Protos, very nice. thumbsup.gif
