Blackberry 8700c, my new one won't turn on |

I just got a new Blackberry 8700c from my uncle, and for some reason, it won't turn on. I've tried pushing the power button a lot of times, holding it down, pushing other buttons, plugging the power in, taking the power out. What do I do?!
 EDIT/ I got it to work. But not it says "Data Connection Refused." I have a Media Works plan (from Cingular) that has 5MB of 'Media' included. Is that an internet connection? |
