How long do you have to wait to get a pregnancy test???? or do you really have to wait till you miss your period or you start getting the symptoms ( throwin up sleepy etc...)?

the tests you buy at the pharmacy only work within a few days before your period. if you want a quicker answer, going to the doctor could give you an answer about week or so after having unprotected sex.

some women claim that they "feel" pregnant or have symptoms prior to their their period. it defers from person to person. common early symptoms: sore/swelled breasts, going to the bathroom alot, fatigue, nausea/morning sickness, and mood swings.

usually it takes 7 to 10 days to actually get the sperm to fertilize/impregnate the egg. then it takes time for embryo implantation and for the body to start building the hormones.

I'm not 100% positive, but isn't there a sertain pregnency test that can detect it like 3 days before your missed period? I think it's digitle or something. Good luck!

Wait a week or so. If you feel you want to get results quicker, do it ASAP but not the day after.

I think it's called "First Response". Although, I was watching the Shopping Bags (this consumer product testing show), and they said that it didn't detect pregnancy any earlier than other pregnancy tests did.
