Yet another piece I've yet to post on here.
Distressed Attempt I listened to your heart melt sorrow and you spoke reflections as if oblivious was a scar embedded in one eye while my other flooded with defeat for tears. The soft velvet of empathy only scraped the wounds you proclaimed were my doing, So I kissed you with anguish and sent you off into twilight whisper. |
