I haven't taken PaintShopPro out for a really long time now, mostly because I've run out of ideas and I have absolutely no creativity these days.
Anyways, I made a colorization, because I was bored today. I don't have photoshop, so I couldn't make it too snazzy, but I think it looks okay since I did this in about 10-15 minutes. I basically just brightened the image, made the skin & hair a natural tone; I spent most of the time on the eyes and lips, though I don't really like the eyeshadow, and I couldn't really get the lips right..  So, here's the original;  And here's my colorization;

loving the color of the lips. not liking the eyeshadow as much though.... but good job =) |

skin tone looks fake... but i can understand since u did it in 10-15 mins, lol
anyway making the eyes darker, and her freckles darker will look nice... i would like to try and color it.. but i' pretty sure it will become more of a mess then i want it too.. |

The only thing that kinda' bothers me is the color above the eyes, but other than that, I like it.

WHOA DUDE STEPH, that scared me. LOL, but the colors are really good. I don't like the eye shadow either but hey great job dudeee.

Whoa, the before picture is creeeepy.
But the colorization looks awesome for a quick job, I like the lips a lot.

OMG. OMG.
 *hides*It looks scary. But nicely done, Steph. The eyes are a bit too blue, but I guess I can't blame you seeing as this was done in a short ammount of time. |

I feel like I can't criticize it since it was made in such a short time, but eh... :D I will anyway.
The skin is too yellow, it does not look natural, try a light orange shade instead. The lips look like lipstick, which doesn't work since this is supposed to look natural unless you wanted it to look like that. The eyeshadow looks like a real skin tone, so if you changed the skin tone, you'd have to probably change the eyeshadow. The whites of the eye should be colored a light blue or maybe even a light pink. Right now you can tell they're grey. The blues of the eye are unnaturally blue as well. I think you have a good overall idea and you are great at keeping in the lines, the colors just need tweaking. |

I think you spend a little bit more than 15 minutes before you post stuff here...
The colors are really off. The eyes are really saturated, the lip color is really dark and the skin color is really pale and brownish. The eyeshadow is nice, but it doesn't match the other colors. I know it takes me like an hour to get the skin color right lol |

I meant to post in this thread a while ago, but I guess I never got around to it. In any case, it seems to me that you're going for a little girl got into momma's make-up sort of feel, which works for the emphasis on the the lips and eyeshadow. However, the eyes are too light, much too saturated for them to be natural.. so unless she's an eight-year-old wearing colored contacts (haha, sounds a little sketch), I'd darken the eye color. Also, the skin tone is really light in comparison to the rest of the photo, which again, I suppose fits if you're looking to emphasize the make-up. But overall, color aside, it's good for a quick job (in terms of layer shapes).

Nicely done I agree for only 10-15 minutes. I think her eyes are to rich of a blue that it almost makes her scary looking. Her lips look to red and her skin is to bright. Although I think she does look quite pretty but a little unrealistic.
