So right now, I'm on hold with Adobe for help with Photoshop. It's not launching. Whatever. I called a while back only to find out they lost my registration so they won't replace it I already know.

Anyway, have you ever called tech support and had a bad experience?

Calling help for my mp3 player, they didn't really help out, but well I guess I fixed it my own. It was hard expaling the problem.

Well i have many,Im sure its probably me who starts the problem because i lose patience easily with people who have accents. It pisses me off when i have to ask them to repeat themselves because they talk so damn fast.

Im sure im the example of "the a-hole caller" in their training program but i cant help but get irritated.

I called the Cingular people, and I got someone with a strong Indian accent that I could barely understand. Then I was put on hold for two hours and hung up on. Grr.

^Oh, dang. I wasn't hung up on, but I have waited for two hours for Cingular. I was really annoyed, but looking back, it wasn't really that bad of a pain in the ass. I could've been doing homework or watching TV, but instead I decided to bitch in my head about how long it was taking.

Now, if I had something to do during that time, I would never make a call to technical support. Those have never been short calls. I've learned to save a few hours for that kind of thing.

Man, when you gotta call up Dell for technical support, they usually first hook you up with some redneck who doesn't know anything about computers, and are so impatient that if they can't understand you, they'll just hang up.

Then if it all goes through like it's supposed to, you get connected to people from India, who are surprisingly better with the computers than the grunts from America, but it's sometimes hard to understand them. Plus, it usually takes a real long time to fix a problem from there.

And then if they can't figure out how to fix your problem, then they finally connect you to the real computer gurus, but at that point it's going to cost money.

911 is hard to reach around here though. ermm.gif I was put on hold for a really long time last time I called when there was an accident. Damnit for cities having sheriffs instead of police. >=[

I hate that when you wait for literally hours to get some help and then you can't even understand them.

Oh yeah, my internet support hates me. I call every other day. They keep me on hold for thirty minutes and never help me. I yell at them and threaten them, nothing.

Uh

Today I was at work and I heard "Business Machines has calls holding." I was working on a computer and there were three other people working in electronics, so I ignored it. "Business Machines has calls holding." Kept working. They aren't supposed to bother me when I'm doing repair work. "DANI PICK UP ON LINE ONE PLEASE, DANI LINE ONE." (God damnit why is it always me? Anyway.) I pick up the phone just in time to hear "goddamn these people don't pick up their goddamned phones they just let me sit here like a f**king idiot--"

Me - "HI THERE TECHNOLOGY THIS IS DANI HOW CAN I HELP YOU?! :D"
Him - "Oh hi, I need to know if you have this ink in stock."

..So basically he waited on the phone for 20 minutes to ask a question about ink, when if he comes in and we don't have it he gets $10 anyway. Poor guy.

Anyway, I'm really patient so I've never had a really bad experience - I just sit the phone down and put it on speaker and wait for someone to pick up.
