My computer is almost 1 1/2 years old, and I didn't have problems with any of the drives then until now.
My CD Burner (or E drive, whichever you like to call it) can't notice when I insert a recordable CD of any kind. I recently just bought a brand new set of recordable CD-R Music and when I try to burn music, I always get the message "Please insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into the E Drive" or something similar to that. I rebooted, uninstalled some programs and softwares to make some more memory space, etc. but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what the problem is and a way to fix it? |

Is the BIOS detecting the drive correctly?

sometimes you get bad cds and if thats not the case go to the computers website and update the drivers
