Hey, what is the best way to incorperate a layout background pattern with a DIV layout. I have been able to make it work by using a GIF DIV's on the layout body and the background while keeping {background-color: XXXXXX;} so the design appears on top of the background colour. But i think i loose quality this way. any ideas. Or i am i doing this right.

CODE
body{ background-color: ######; background-image: url(urlgoeshere); }

You can always just save the patten background w/ the background color you want. And save as a .jpg.

I have been using this code. But what i meant is. In photoshop because the beckground is white, when i position the div white is still exposed. So ive been making the layout div a GIF to get rid of the background. And the pattern is no problem. But im just asking if this is the right way to do this?
