This post is to show how easy and ridiculous these "I Feel Bad" poems are. I would like to point out that I personally do not feel at all like this. I'm a happy guy and though I've had more than my share of hard times, I got through them and became a better person. The best way to deal with a problem is to confront it, not repress it or run from it. And I'm not even going to pretend like this is on par with actual poets out there who know what they are saying. This is just the typical sad poem to the optimistic observer. So enjoy, or don't. I didn't even try.

My eyes feel heavy as the dawn breaks through.
I want to stay asleep. The burden is too great.
You fraud I once called friend

The sun is bright but the world is gray to me
My heart has withered away to black.
The rain has not stopped on my soul.

You stepped on me at my weakest.
These tears of mine feel endless.
My heart is lost somewhere on the ocean floor.

Mother never loved or understood.
Daddy never paid me much attention
I'll stay in my room till they both die.

The razor's edge whittles me away.
This physical pain seems pleasant
Compared to the hurt of my existence.

I want to someday find the end.
I want to reach inside and feel eternal darkness.
These pills will help me along this journey.

My black suit of armor shields me
Makes me invisible to those who wish me harm
I see their eyes never noticing me.

I shall never trust myself again
To get too close to true happiness
For the pain...lol. I can't finish without laughing.

Well, that's pretty much it. I'd say that is either equal or pretty damn close. It took me 15 minutes to write and that was only cause I had a consort who helped me towards whatever sounded most depressing. All words were original, nothing was stolen, everything was made up on the spot and it was very easy. I've said it before and I'll say it again. "This type of poetry is not hard. Anyone can do it. This is not skill." I am not saying I have skill either, but at least I don't cry.
