I think this is a website which is really worth it... Someone spent a lot of time to put this together:

It lists hundreds of free blog (web)-tools, one after another. Sometimes with a bit of comment from the submitter.
I tried several of the links, and they all seem to be up to date and pointing to quality stuff.

So if you are looking for some gimmicks to include in your website (free polls, counters, maps, a tool to show powerpoint slides on your webpage etc..), or graphics tools (avatar generators, picture editors, etc..) and you are an absolute web-newbie like me, have a look at that link.

and no, i have no shares in that site, and no, this forum topic is not sent by a Russian Spam Machine. I am human and alive thankyouverymuch. Just thought to share something I have been impressed with.
