Animations.

I made a animation in adobe ImageReady. & saved it as an .gif file. But when I tried to upload it. The file is to big. How do i fix this problem?

help anyone sad.gif

seeing as i don't know anything about imageready, make sure that theres no way to compress the file or reduce the size when you save it. there might not be that option at all...i don't really know.

From what I know, the size of the file depends on the size of the whole image and how much animation was applied. Exactly how big is this file and where are you uploading it? Some image hosts out there have a larger file size limit.

You can also try to optimize your image (it should be under your save settings? I'm not entirely sure, as I don't use imageready.. something similar to this..)

It's under File>>Save Optimized on the menu.

Can you really optimize animations?

I just tried it. You can, but it's not as effective as optimizing a jpeg. =\

Still, try it and see if it works for you, H3LL0.
