help my lnew layout is slowing down my page, how do i fix it Options

i have another question. now that i fixed my friends nd comments i have another problem. the layout is slowing my page down nd freezing it! is there a way i can fix this without taking down the layout???

What browser are you using? I think it may be your computer though. I viewed your layout (just the codes you posted) in to a other myspace and I don't seem to be having the problem in IE or AOL browser.

im using IE. my page didnt start to slow down until i put up the new layout

Yea, its because now your layout has to load all your comments and friends. And since your friends are leaving a lot of images in their comments that have flitter effects and such its going to take the page some time to load which causes it the flash and such.


The only thing you can possibly do perhaps is to get rid of some of the images, survey results, and the falling objects perhaps. Without those it would help your profile load faster..
