hey guys.. for those that remember me, i posted a topic not too long ago askin for things to do to spark things up, thanks for all the replies. but due to the lack of time ( we both have school and practice on weekdays and other stuff to do on the weekends ) we never did anything "fun" together after.
yesterday the topic was being brought up, and we straight up told each other that we thought our relationship has become pretty robotic like. everything was a routine. school. we would see each other during passin periods. and afterschool for abit before we would go off to meetings or practice. then the weekends, its always the typical hangouts. and we both agree that things have become so predictable and things are just sorta .. flat? we both agreed that " we`re happy, but bored. " and obviously, we still like each other and want to save our relationship. we talked to our friends about it. and most suggested to take a break. and some suggested to not. there are both pros and cons. taking a break might give us a "fresh, new start" if we miss each other dearlyyy during the break and things will probably get better after. OR things could just " die out " during the break and we realize " its not that bad afterwards ". And if we dont take a break. things COULD get better ( since our anniversary, valetines and sadies are coming up within weeks ) but we`re afraid that things would just go back to where they are now after all the "fun" and another possibility is that if we dont take a break. things get even MORE robotic and nothing interesting happens and our relationship just dies. sorry, im tryin to make this as short as possible. everythings been great up until 3 weeks ago, due to finals long practices and schoolwork. we talked about this together for about an hour or more in person. and we were both 50/50 well he was more like 51/49 more break. we`re gonna talk again tmr to see what to do. soo any help would be greatly appreciated.` thankyou! p.s. and for those who have been in long term relationships. how did you manage to keep it going strong? thankss |
