the image isn't poor qaulity its and art image so of course it looks scratchy, the bastard of my code won't tell me how to get that darned black stuff around my text off so i have to use black which makes it look bolded, yay! alignment fixed!

i like the left side, but i'm not liking the pink border and maybe you could've blended the blog part with the picture somehow. it would've looked better.
