Afterschool, do you walk home or do you get a ride?

For me, I get a ride. It's either my mom, brother, dad, or sister that drives me home, but my mom drives me home mostly.

Excuse me if this topic was made already.. rolleyes.gif

i walked home from middle school, and elementary school some of the years, but its too far away to walk home from high school.

i try to get rides, but thats not always possible, becuase either my mom will be working, or robert will be busy, marissa will just not want to drive me home, and colleen will just not come to the band room. this leaves few alternatives. ill call my grandparents or ask someone who lives nearby whos parents are picking them up, but thpse occasions are rare, because my grandparents drive really slowly and i feel bad asking other people, so i often have no choice but to ride the godforsaken bus

oh, and it would be pretty easy to find out if its been made if you search wink.gif

My parents won't elt me walk home by myself or with my friends because they think that I'll get kidnapped, too. My house is like, 3-4 minutes away.

I walk to school since I live down the street THANK GOD.

I couldn't stand riding the bus last year. It sucks when it's raining though. Usually I just wait for the rain to stop, then I go to school tongue.gif

1 more year... sigh

I can't walk home, I live too far away. I take the subway home. It's really convenient, however it sucks when the trains are never on schedule.

I used to walk 2 miles to school and to go home when I was in elementary school (and even before that). My Mom/brother/sometimes my Dad or uncle would walk me. Cars were reserved for the very rich in Vietnam and bikes were a convenience to those who could afford them. I walked in junior high, too, but it wasn't so bad. I took the bus for four years straight in high school and car pool sometimes during my first semester of college. I have my own car now _smile.gif

I walk home, true the bus gets you home faster. But I like the way the breeze feels during spring. And listening to my footsteps in the winter.

I get a ride from either my sister (in most cases), or my father. Early next year I'm hoping to be able to get my car (yeah!), but it's still a hope
