First off, my real name is Lauren (Lau-RIN). Taking the ending sound of my name, I made my name asian by creating the name Rin. Thus, Rin Then, to make it ever more asian, I added the suffix -chan because I thought it sounded cool. Thus, Rin-chan. I was born in 1989, so I made that sound neat by chopping off the 89 part and adding a 0 in front of it. Thus, 089. All together, you get rinchan089!!! Rin-chan |

On Gaia, I had a screen name with the word, "Blue" in it.
And then, I asked someone to draw me. She drew me, and put the name, "Blue-Chan" on it. It seemed so simple and adorable, I kept using it. And people wouldn't stop calling me that. So that's how my name came to be... Kind wierd. |

Some people pick their usernames as something symbolic, like an inside joke or a quote from a song or something. Why/how did you pick your username?
For me... umm... I don't remember, which probably means that I just made it up from nothing in particular.
