Why are your best friends your best friends? I guess this is a bit of bragging thread, but explain what makes your best friend(s) so special and wonderful, it can be fun reminding yourself why you keep him/her/them so close to your heart. Or, if you don't have a best friend, then your closest friend(s).
My best friends are like, the funniest and most understand girls ever. I swear, I've never felt more comfortable telling them anything than with anyone else.

I actually don't have a best friend.
It's weird, but I don't feel comfortable revealing my feelings to anyone. Not even my close friends. |

My best friends are my best friends because:
1. They will slap me back to my senses when I've lost all sanity. 2. They aren't afraid to point out my wrongs. 3. They don't lie to me and are loyal. 4. They accept me for who I am and appreciate me. 5. They will pull me out of the crap I've dug myself in and if they can't, they'll accompany me. They're the best people I know, even when everything is changing around us. They always stay the same. |

They always keep me smiling and happy, and they also tell me when I'm being an absolute prick. They're my best friends because we both appreciate each other for who we each are. (And because no matter what, we have each other's backs.)

I don't have exactly a person to label my 'best friend'. i used to, and we're still really good friends, we just don't label ourselves that way anymore after a little dispute. But i love my friends because they make me smile. they make me laugh and make my day better and they're always there for me just all friends should be.

I don't have any people I would really consider my 'best friend.' The only thing I can really think of when I see best friends talking and such though is they always start talking and leave others out. Sometimes I find it a bit rude to do when your sitting in a group.
 I've always just been around people that were best friends and had bad experiences. So perhaps I don't really want one, .

I only have two very close friends.
I absolutely could not survive without them. They always keep me laughing, even when I feel like dying. They have made me realize how beautiful, inside & out I can be if I stop being so self-conconcious. They have basically taught me how to live a life & I will be forever grateful to them. I love them with my heart. |

I have a best friend and he's my best friend because he understands me alot he's always here to support me, he never stopped talking to me, sending me letters and e-mailing me when I moved to France and now that I moved back to London we are best friends again.
I think that the most important thing is trusting your best friend and making him/her laugh whenever he/she is sad. My brother is my second best friend. He always supports me and helps me. He's the best roomate ever and we never fight.

They're close to me because they go out of their way for me.
My close friends are considered "close" because somehow from barely getting to know them there is something about them that shows me they are that rare nugget of gold surrounded by the fool's gold. They'll make fun of me tand I will to them but we'll smile in the end of our false conflicts and make a memory of the moment no one else can compare. Inside we would both thing highly of each other, marveling each other in some way that drives us to want to put effort to keep he bond of friendship strong.. Errr they're just cool like that?

It's not like an "OMGZ I HATE PEOPLE THEY SUCK" but it's more like I've been without a best friend for so long, I don't really talk to people anymore. I never talk about what happens at home, stuff besides just "Oh, I failed my exam today" and that junk. |

my best friends care soo much for me...were so close its like were sisters...not almost like were sisters...its like we are sis's....we have the funniest insiders mainly from dave chappelle HAHA

My best friends are like me which make sme like them even better. They like to play hockey(street and ice). They liek to workout with me at the gym. My friends are the physical type so we're always doing something active. But I also have this special friend. She's really nice to me. And we met when she was in gr.10 and I was in gr.11. As soon as we saw each other we had this de-ja-vu moment where we both thought we saw each other before somewhere but we both can't remember. She makes me feel better when I'm down and we always make each other laugh. We always talk to each other fothe longest times to. When I am not with my athletic friends I'm with her.

My best friends are fun to be with and are good to talk to. Some friends I don't tell personal things to and others I can, but I love them all the same amount. They are funny and know what to say when I'm down; when I'm happy they make life more fun. We can talk for hours and still not be done but need to hang up because our voices are hoarse and we have to sleep. With one of them in particular, whenever I'm with her I feel like I am whole because my other half is with me.

well, they're stupid reasons. but true.
i have like, four best friends. 1) we have THOUSANDS of inside jokes. we live at each other's houses. we can tell each other anything. 2) he considers me his best friend. -considers back- but he's a really helpful person, great advice. 3) i can tell him things i can't tell any of the other four friends, and he and i can seriously have a good, serious, conversation. 4) eh, idk, we've been calling each other our best friend lately. and i like him.

Like a lot of people here, I don't have one particularily "best" friend. I had a few bad experiences being really close to other girls(I'm a girl) in the past... and it really hurt me, and others. But I do have a few close friends, most of them guys, who are the reason I get out of bed in the mornings and drag my ass to face the world.
One, I have known for years, but we just became close this past year after he moved out of town. He and I have helped eachother through a lot of stuff and I trust him with my life. He is super protective of me and I guess we're "bestfriend"like because we're both really crazy. Another guy I know, I am actually quite fond of. I've liked him "more than a friend" for a few months now but stuff didn't work out between us, and so we remained good friends. I'm not sure if he considers us as close as I do, but we hang out a lot, we have many similar interests and we're really good friends because we communicate so well. We share everything, music, movies etc etc and it's sometimes like we're on the same wavelength. I've never been able to be so relaxed around someone. I have known some of his family(brothers, etc) for years and his parents love me, but we just started hanging out at the end of this summer. The rest of my friends I'm pretty distant from. I think what makes me such good friends with these two is that I have a huge level of respect for both of them... I can't really explain how important or awesome they are. I could go on for ages about them and still not clearly identify why we click so well... |

My best friends...hmm...
Well, I've got a few. One of them, Ashley, is my best friend because she cares about me and she was there for me when I was going through this problem with my brother and stuff. She makes me laugh and stuff. Whenever we talk on the phone, we're always gossiping and all that good stuff. xPP Daniel, though, maaan. He's hilarious. xD We agree on most of the same things in like...the news and stuff, and he's going through the same thing I went through last year in school, and I feel really bad about it. D: We help each other in everything, though. We're like brother and sister, we used to throw band equiptment at each other. xD |
