Aww, I'm sorry for using terminology you're not familiar with.

Should I stick to small words, too? You know, just incase you're not used to hearing big words. Not that I'm saying that I know many.

Being that I am from Australia, I would think I would have more insight than you to what the Australian Open is called.

I guess you're not aware then...

There are other countries, and believe it or not, there are differences in language and culture in these different countries. So, although you live in Australia and have never heard the term "Aussie Open", it doesn't mean that others don't say it elsewhere.

Insight? Hah. People can call anything whatever they want. That's why there's something called slang.
