What is a good size to make my div background in photoshop so it will fill up the entire screen in pixels please?

I'd say about 1024 x 800. That's what I make mine when I want it to fill the entire page. But is it a repeating background? 'Cause if it is, then just make the part that will repeat, test it, and then use CSS to make it repeat as the background.

no i was jus talking about regular backgrounds so ill try 1024 by 800 thank you very much

Standard screen resolutions at 1024 width is 768px height.

yea 1024 by 768 doesnt fill up the whole screen on my computer

^ Make it bigger whats your resolution? Make it a little bigger than that size. But the bigger you make it the more of a scrollbar smaller resolutions will get.
